You are invited to explore conservation in the St. Marys Basin!  

Join us the first Thursday each month starting in November at 9 am or 7 pm as your schedule allows for this monthly webinar series.

All webinars will occur via zoom with the link for each webinar emailed to registered attendees in advance of the webinar. The zoom app can be downloaded to your phone or tablet so you can participate while in the field.

Dec 3: Soil Fertility –Fertilizer and Manure

How do you collect soil samples? What do the data mean?

Jan 7: Soil Health

What is soil health data? Details of soil health data collected in the St Marys Drainage. Practices that impact soil health.

Feb 4: Cover Crops

What  are cover crops? How do we use them locally?  Functions and fears—how do cover crops  impact water quality in the St Marys Basin?

Mar 4: Dollars and Cents

What  funds are available to assist with conservation practice implementation? Local folks talking about local funding using the local grant catalog!

Apr 1: 4R or other conservation topics

What topics are of interest to you? Indiana’s new 4R program is one potential option.
